Aulani Family Beach & Sunset Portrait Photography
The Disney Aulani in Ko Olina is a beautiful family resort in Oahu Hawaii nestled among palm trees with the beautiful family friendly man-made lagoons to play and explore. The Disney Aulani Resort, along with all the other resorts in the private Ko Olina community jealously guard access to their property as they want guests to only use their photographers and services. Therefore, photographers like myself are not allowed to use the beach, lagoon or anywhere else in the resort. The good news, is that there is a far better, little known location for family beach photography less than two blocks away called Secret Cove that is a public beach, not private. All the images you’ll see on this page are from Secret Cove or the public shoreline (as well as some on the grassy verges we sneak in!)
We have two Aulani Disney family beach packages that vary from 60 minutes to 90 minutes for large families or clients wanting the most creative, gorgeous portraits Hawaii nature has to offer. Families large or small are welcome, from the grandparents to the youngest kids and children.

Creative & Gorgeous Disney Aulani Family Beach & Sunset Photography
Your family photo session doesn’t have to be limited to only at the Disney Aulani in Ko Olina! There are some fantastic alternative locations on other beaches, with the best location determined more by the time of day of the session, length of the session and what kind of backgrounds you want. Brett will happily recommend several according to your needs and desires. Recommended times of day for family beach photography is early morning or late afternoon for the softest, warmest light, however, sessions can be any time of day as well.
To reserve an Disney Aulani family beach photography session, a deposit is required and is refundable if canceled more than 72 hours before your session. Refunds are NOT given for anything beyond Brett's personal control - like weather, wind, sunburns, rain, wet clothes, etc. Rescheduling due to weather is at the discretion of Brett*.

Within a few days of your Disney Aulani family beach & sunset photo session, your images will be uploaded to an online gallery for viewing and downloading. If you have made your final session payment, you will be able to immediately download the digital images included in your package directly to your computer. High quality prints, enlargements and additional products such as collages and photo books are available for purchase right from your online gallery as well.

Disney Aulani Family Photography Packages
The aloha package - $750
A 60 minute family photo session that includes all the photos taken (SOOC, unedited*), PLUS your choice of 75 edited images at Full Resolution.** Good for any location on Oahu but only available for morning sessions at Aulani/Ko Olina.
The Oahu Package - $1000
A 90 minute family photo session that includes all the photos taken (SOOC, unedited*), PLUS your choice of 100 edited images at Full Resolution.** Good for any location on Oahu and for sunset/sunrise sessions.
The Hawaiian Package - $1600
Our double session option, for those who want the maximum variety of images and backgrounds - typically used for large multiple family groups or split into two locations/sessions of 90 min each (ex: one morning/day session, one sunset session) . Includes all the photos taken (SOOC, unedited*), PLUS your choice of 200 edited images at Full Resolution.**
*SOOC stands for “Straight Out Of Camera,” unedited, untouched proofs. See examples here.
**Edited images are edited for color, white balance, exposure, cropping, straightening, etc, as well as general clean up. Editing is fully at the discretion of the photographer. Does not include “photoshopping.” Hint: all the images shown on this website were edited & delivered as shown.
After The Session
The average 60 minute family portrait session typically results in 200-300 images. Within two days of your family photo session, you are emailed a link to an online gallery of your images, where you can view, share and download your images as well as select the images to be edited that are included with your package. The option to purchase additional products such as well as prints large and small, photo books, collages and other products are available from the gallery, if you so desire.
