Model Shoot on the Beach

When Ana first contacted me about photographing her new line of swimsuits using models, I was a bit hesitant. I have very rarely worked with models and the business product photography I’d done previously had been on small items that didn’t move on their own - or involve scantily clad women. However, I was very confident about my ability to shoot on the beach so when she accepted my quote, I was looking forward to a new experience.

One of the models clearly had more experience than the others and it quickly became apparent that a good model makes a huge difference. In other words, a good model makes the photographer look good!

With two hours to shoot, three models and 30 swimsuits to work thru, we ended up with well over a 1000 images.

Towards the end of the session, with most of the work behind us, we started just clowning around and having fun.

In the end, we all had a lot of fun, got wet and made some great photos! And most importantly, Ana was very happy with what we got.
